One day, after I finished a tour on campus, I decided to lay down under a tree next to Cato Hall… Big mistake because there was a killer squirrel watching my every move. He/She was literally watching me from the trunk of the tree. One of the strangest thing I’ve ever seen!!!! LOL :P

As much as I love Coldplay as a band, my favorite female musician is Michelle Branch. She has inspired me as well as many other fans to be true to who you are. Her voice is beautiful and she does not need a voice enhancer to show how talented she is. She also plays the acoustic guitar, which is a plus! I know she is so early 2000s but even though her music is not being played as mainstreamed as others, she is still writing music and going strong. For the past 3+ years she has been working on her album, Everything Comes and Goes. She has already released her EP for the album but I imagine the rest of her songs for the album will be music inspired by her family and her travels. She is a true American Artist with a natural voice and a love for music. For those facts, I love and support her music. #5 on my Before 25 lisT

Snowed in on my birthday but at least I do not have to attend my classes. There is ice covered on top of snow. It is dangerous out there in the streets of Charlotte, NC. This will be the third day that the University closes due to inclement weather. Although it is nice to stay inside from the freezing weather, it has been a bit boring laying around my apartment watching television, playing on the computer, and taking naps.  I cannot believe that I am actually saying this but I cannot wait until classes actually start because I need some social interaction.

Birthdays are over exaggerated. What are we celebrating? Getting older? After you have reached the age of 21, there is no need to celebrate anymore. Birthdays are merely there to haunt you and tell you that you must celebrate your aging process. I, on the other hand, like to keep my birthday low key since it is just another day in a year. The years pass by and sooner than later you realize that life feels as if it goes by quicker than the wink of an eye. T

My all-time favorite band! Coldplay!!!! Yes, the concert was well over a year ago but the memories live onto eternal bliss. This is where I was able to touch Chris Martin’s hand. It was his left hand and from there I was able to drench my palm with his sweat. No, no exaggeration at all. Later, I contemplated about washing my hand during the ride from the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. I decided it was necessary, for the sake of those who will come in contact with me while the sweet smell started to turn into a menace, to wash his ever so sweet sweat off my palm… To come so close to him, I imagine this will happen again one day.
